Here are the second group of cars in our series of limited run paint schemes.
These cars are a tribute to the colorful 1960's and 70's when the railroads started
to get away from the boring boxcar red and went to bolder graphics and brighter
colors. These cars will be produced one time only, and will be made only to order.

Peoria & Western
The TP&W leased a group of cars from the United States Equipment Leasing company
in the mid 1960's. These cars were rebuilt by USEX and painted in a bold cream
and green paint scheme. These are sure to be stand-outs on any layout!

Burlington
Northern
The Burlington Northern continued to use 40' boxcars into the 1980's- long after
many others had relegated them to scraplines. This series is made up of ex CB&Q
cars and represents cars as they appeared in the 1970's.

Mobile & Ohio
Not wanting to be left out when the color craze of the 1960's began, the GM&O
repainted many of its rebuilt boxcars in bright red. There were different lettering
arrangements applied, but the classic was the arched road name with the winged
herald as on our car.

Well, there was no arguing over who owned this car! The NP used this scheme with
giant "NP" initials and huge "Monad" herald on many cars in
the sixties.
