Our passenger car kits are designed to be built to whatever level of detail the modeler chooses. They can be built as a basic operating model without all the extra details, or by investing a little more time a super-detailed, contest-quality model can be produced. The choice is yours.....

Many items included standard in our kits were previously available only as super detail parts. Included in every Branchline heavyweight kit are:

* Highly detailed body shell
* Individual grab irons
* Body mounted couplers
* Full interior
* Accurate six wheel trucks with blackened metal wheels
* Complete underbody equipment - brake gear, battery boxes, tool boxes, generator, air reservoirs, steam traps and more
* Correct air conditioning systems (where appropriate).
* Working diapragms
* Car end steam/air and signal lines, coupler cut bars, cast coupler yoke, safety chains
* Accurate paint and lettering
